Stopping the Heretitary Cycle of Prostitution

Moumita is nine years old.  She comes daily to a project in Kolkata, India run by Emmanuel Ministries.  Her mother works in the red light district.  In this area the chances are great that if your grandmother was a prostitute and your mother is a prostitute, then you would become a prostitute too.

But when Moumita comes to this project she is taught to read and write, sing and pray.  She is cared for to make sure she stays in school.   Moumita loves to eat cake, and one day wants to become a police officer.

Over the last 15 years all (100%) of the children who have been a part of this program have NOT entered into the sex trade.  The cycle of hereditary prostitution is being broken.

You can make a difference like this…  will you?
